Superintendent Search Update: February 2026

Dear ÎÞÂëÊÓƵ Community:



We are writing today to provide you with an update regarding the Superintendent search. 

First, the search committee would like to thank all who provided feedback throughout the search process and met with our candidates. The input we received from teachers, parents, staff, students and community members guided search committee members throughout the interviewing process.

Our initial search process did not result in securing the next Superintendent for our District. Due to a number of factors including timing, and the many moving parts associated with Act 73, the Board voted to open a new search for a one year Interim Superintendent. 

We are committed to selecting the best candidate who will provide the leadership necessary to navigate the many challenges we face during this transformative time in the educational landscape of Vermont. We will keep you informed as the process develops.
